The OODA Loop is a cognitive process highlighted by Col. John Boyd, one of the most successful fighter pilots in history. He credited his success to his ability to Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act (OODA) faster than his opponents. Curiosity's work is driven by the understanding and control of this process.
